Aaron Ah Chee
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Redfish Business Development Manager Aaron is responsible for developing and maintaining our employer partnerships. He works with many of New Zealand’s largest companies as well as smaller local businesses and is responsible for sourcing work experience, internship and employment opportunities for students across NZMA. Aaron came to Redfish from global recruitment company Drake International. During his seven years there he held a range of different recruitment consulting positions, from industrial recruitment to corporate and government recruitment. His last position with Drake was as a Business Development Manager.
Sharon Cummings
RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT, AUCKLAND CENTRAL ACADEMY
Sharon is dedicated to finding the perfect match for both our students and our employer partners. As a qualified careers advisor she has a wealth of recruitment experience, spanning both New Zealand and her homeland, the United Kingdom. Sharon has successfully recruited a wide range of position types, from general staff roles to senior management positions. Her recent experience as a training advisor for the Retail Institute saw her look after over 30 stores, acting as mentor and coach, ensuring new staff were trained and existing staff were up-skilled. Sharon is also a qualified workplace assessor.
Rosemary Haines
RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT, AUCKLAND WEST ACADEMY
Rosemary has been in the recruitment field for 13 years and has extensive experience in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. She has worked as a recruitment consultant, a recruitment branch manager and she also spent five years training recruitment staff across Australasia. Her most recent role prior to joining Redfish was as a recruitment trainer for a leading Australasian fundraising consultancy. Rosemary joined the Redfish team in 2010 and assists students from both our Auckland West and Auckland Central Academies with their job search.
Leilani “Lani” Hoyt
RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT, AUCKLAND SOUTH ACADEMY
Lani began her career working in film and television, helping actors, models and presenters break into the industry and develop their careers. She has worked as a motivational speaker and while living in Sydney, was a team leader for Mission Australia (a leading Australian community services provider) where her primary focus was supporting people into employment. After returning to New Zealand, Lani gained employment as a Branch Manager for a Work and Income provider in Otahuhu. She joined NZMA in 2009, initially as part of the Student Services team at NZMA's Auckland South Academy and more recently as the Redfish Recruitment Consultant for Auckland South.
Hilary Plummer
RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT, WAIKATO ACADEMY
Hilary is responsible for developing and assisting NZMA students into employment in the Waikato region. She helps them understand career choices, identify work options and make employment a reality. Hilary works closely with employers to create the best job matches for NZMA students and to support the employer in making the best recruitment decision for the business. She joined Redfish after spending 11 years with Workwise as an employment consultant and team leader where she supported people into employment and led and coached other consultants to do the same.
